For a long time, Jess was a Performing Arts teacher in high schools, in local theatre education and the training of pre-professional artists. She also worked as Personal Assistant to theatre director Iain Sinclair as part of her Programs, Communications and not-for-profit administration roles at 16th Street Actors Studio and the 16th Street Foundation (2018-2021), mentored in Philanthropy by Natalie Elliott (Cooper Investors).

Jess is also a passionate Australian performer with a reputation for being hard-working, engaging and, "in possession of a fine, versatile instrument - her own voice” Anthony Hawser theatreguide.com.au. A singer, actor, writer, director and choreographer, she has been performing across Australia for the past 10 years, calling both Melbourne and Brisbane home.

In 2015 Jess toured Australia with her third cabaret, ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG (arrangements and music direction by Greenroom Award-winning composer Shanon Whitelock); a soul-rock celebration of some of musical legends. In 2016 Jess completed a national tour of CAROLE KING – THE SONGBOOK OF HER LIFE and the comedy-cabaret THE ROAD TO STOCKHOLM (with Matthew Hadgraft).

In 2017 Jess featured in the critically acclaimed Australian play, SPRINGSTEEN, written and directed by Emmy Award-winning Melbourne writer, Gabriel Bergmoser and in workshops of the new Australian musical, A SHARP INTAKE OF BREATH by Lucy O’Brien for Home Grown’s acclaimed program, The Grassroots Initiative.

Previous musical theatre productions include: PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT (Diva), KINKY BOOTS (Maggie), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Trio 1), LEGALLY BLONDE (Paulette Buonafonte), HAIRSPRAY (Female Authority Figure), A CHORUS LINE (Diana Morales), CHICAGO (Velma Kelly), INTO THE WOODS (The Witch), THE BOY FROM OZ (Liza Minnelli: opposite Dale Pengelly) and many more.

Jessica has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical (Palm Awards) in 2011, 2013 and 2014 for EUROBEAT (Boyka), INTO THE WOODS (The Witch) and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (Frau Blucher) and was the winner of the 2014 Your Theatrics International Cabaret Contest (Queensland Division).

Jess joins the TOP team with an organisational streak only outweighed by her love of coffee and red wine.
